Job Description
Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial property projects. Collaborate with the design and construction teams to ensure accurate project assessments. Analyze project documents and identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and present preconstruction plans to stakeholders. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials, and construction techniques. Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Monitor and adjust project estimates as necessary throughout the preconstruction phase. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during the planning stage. The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Estimator/Precon Manager should have:
Proven experience in cost estimation and preconstruction management within the property and construction industry. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market trends. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
