Sales Account Manager - Meat Distribution

Milwaukee, WI (Must reside in the Greater Milwaukee area) Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 base +
uncapped commission Total Compensation:
$100,000+ annually (on average) About the Role We're looking for a driven and relationship-focused
Sales Account Manager
to manage a strong portfolio of existing customers and grow sales across SE Wisconsin and North Illinois. You'll work directly with chefs, buyers, and operators across restaurants, caterers, healthcare, and hospitality clients-providing them with high-quality protein solutions tailored to their specific needs. This is a customer-centric role built on trust, reliability, and service. You'll be stepping into an established territory with room to grow, backed by a team that values long-term relationships and quality over volume. What You'll Do
Manage and grow a book of business in the greater Milwaukee area Serve as the main point of contact for your accounts, building trust and understanding client needs Partner closely with chefs and foodservice professionals to recommend the right product mix Prospect for new customers through cold calling, referrals, and networking Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure accurate fulfillment Participate in weekly team meetings and share insights to help drive sales strategy What We're Looking For
BS/BA degree required or an equivalent of 4+ years of protein, center of plate or produce sales experience 2+ years of experience in protein / center of plate or produce sales Direct experience working with chefs, restaurant groups, or foodservice operations Track record of managing accounts and growing sales through strong relationships Comfortable handling both account management and new business development Must live in Wisconsin / Northern IL area and be familiar with the local food scene Self-motivated with strong communication and time management skills Why You'll Like It Here
