Estimator – Power/Nuclear Projects Location:
Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite in Charlotte, NC Citizenship Requirement:
U.S. , due to the nature of the projects Relocation:
Yes, assistance available through a formal mobility program Compensation:
Competitive base + bonus + 401K match + full benefits + generous PTO ( exact salary TBD based on experience ). Will also need to hire several contractors, at a competitive market rate depending on experience.

Estimating Manager (TBD); works closely with Director of Estimation
Role Summary: Seeking an experienced Estimator to support large-scale capital projects in the power and nuclear sector. This individual will be responsible for preparing and documenting detailed project cost estimates, analyzing subcontractor bids, and participating in both preconstruction and post-award phases across lump sum and design/build efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret project drawings/specs and perform accurate quantity take-offs
Prepare complete cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor inputs
Analyze and clarify subcontractor quotations; prepare bid bond applications
Participate in turnover meetings and support cost tracking/reporting systems
Estimate scope changes and support cost claims and construction handoffs
Coordinate tender closings and proposal submission logistics
Conduct site visits when required for complex tenders
Qualifications:
5–8+ years of estimating experience on power plant or large industrial projects (nuclear experience highly )
Background in skilled trades (pipefitter, boilermaker, millwright, or ironworker) or Engineering (P.Eng/CET or equivalent)
Familiarity with large lump sum capital project estimating
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera P6)
Experienced in proposal development and construction documentation
Strong attention to detail, organizational skill, and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
