The Junior Estimator for Transmission and Distribution plays a vital role in crafting cost estimates for transmission, distribution, and substation projects. You will have the opportunity to engage in our comprehensive training program designed to build your estimating skills and knowledge.

Essential Functions Assist in preparing comprehensive cost estimates for designated projects related to transmission, distribution, and substations. Monitor the project scope of work to ensure timely completion of estimates. Schedule and conduct field job walks with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams to discuss constructability requirements. Support the take-off and evaluation process for estimating purposes. Request material vendor pricing and subcontractor proposals, including the organization and distribution of RFQ/RFP documentation. Review various project documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. Engage in the estimate review process with both internal and external stakeholders. Provide ongoing support to construction teams to clarify and track cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in preparing and submitting change orders as necessary. Participate in project close-out meetings to ensure all aspects of the estimating process are finalized. Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned. This role will be performed in company-designated office or field locations. Uphold the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and adhere to professional industry standards. About You: Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred experience with construction drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare estimates for time, costs, and labor. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Salary is commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Salary ranges are provided in good faith, with the company reserving the right to adjust based on candidate qualifications. Comprehensive Benefits Package:
