Staffmark is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support a growing manufacturing and fabrication facility specializing in components for agricultural and industrial equipment. $20-$24/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting raw materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless using precision tools like calipers and micrometers. You'll monitor machining and fabrication processes, including laser cutting, welding, and CNC operations, to ensure adherence to quality standards. This role involves performing dimensional and performance testing on finished products, documenting findings, and working closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions when necessary . You'll also support internal audits, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and ensure all inspection tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
What We're Looking For:
1-3 years of experience in a quality control role (manufacturing, fabrication, or machining preferred) High school diploma or GED Proficient in reading blueprints and using standard measurement tools Knowledge of CQI, ASQ, or SPC practices is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced production environment
