Colorado Golf Club is seeking to place a highly capable professional with strong leadership experience as General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO). A positive, energetic approach to the Club's managerial functions and duties is essential. In addition, the future GM/COO must have developed teambuilding skills and business acumen to execute to the club's established strategic plan. The candidate will also be able to execute effectively to these well-defined targets and doing so with a strong and natural "mentorship" style. The successful GM/COO will display an authentic enjoyment of building relationships and a demonstrated ability to partner with the Board and its Committees in a professional, respectful, and diplomatic manner.

The General Manager/Chief Operating Officer reports to the President and the Board of Directors at Colorado Golf Club. The GM/COO is expected to provide quality leadership for the Club ensuring that members enjoy the finest level of service, a quality product, and an exciting calendar of events. He/She is expected to display excellent communication skills with both members and staff. He/She is responsible for the success of all aspects of the Club goals and is expected to devote his/her full time and attention to operations, planning, and staff management. The GM/COO has full responsibility for all day-to-day areas of the operations, including the oversight of the Club's income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and capital budget.

Director of Golf Golf Course Superintendent Finance Manager / HR Director Clubhouse/Food & Beverage Manager Executive Chef Maintenance & Housekeeping Director Events Director CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will either be a successful, highly visible General Manager/COO at a club known for exceptional member experiences or be viewed as a club management "up-coming superstar" with a minimum of 5 years of highly successful management in a top tier club.
Ideal candidate will be outgoing and personable with excellent interpersonal skills Candidate must be a charismatic, compassionate professional who truly enjoys the hospitality/club environment One who engages effectively with both members and staff Team builder with experience training, guiding, and retaining staff Passionate about creating a "best place to work" environment Possess especially strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong sense of accountability and confident decision making Detail oriented Proven experience providing "best in class" service levels for members and guests Demonstrated skills in food and beverage operations are essential Familiarity with H2B and visa work programs to attract seasonal talent from around the globe Ability to optimize an organizational chart and reporting structure as the Club continues to grow Confident ability to help lead and participate in Board and Committee meetings with actionable results Possess excellent financial and budgeting skills Proven business acumen Understanding of and experience in membership demographics, marketing, and retention Proven experience with innovative and creative programming Sound understanding of golf operations, golf course management, aquatics, and fitness Experience with overseeing capital and operational projects EDUCATION A bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field of study is preferred but not required. The CCM designation is desirable but not required.

SALARY & BENEFITS Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The club, along with the typical CMAA benefits, offers an excellent bonus and benefit package. Salary Range: $315,000 - $400,000 plus bonus.
