Purpose of the Job
Responsible for maintaining and cleaning water/wastewater systems; identifying water meter equipment problems; and performing water meter and/or system maintenance activities

Route maintenance Respond to and investigate customer service calls Meter reading Communicate with internal and external customers Perform connections and reconnections
Competencies
Communicating Effectively Working Safely Performing Physical or Mechanical Tasks Serving Customers Using Computers and Technology
Education
H.S. Diploma or GED in General
Certifications
Driver's License

Field-Based Role
Work Experience
3 years of water meter reading preferred, maintenance experience, ability to operate various tools/equipment, and knowledge of cross connection regulations and ability to report violations or other unsafe conditions.
