Our client, a Beauty Brand, is seeking a creative, strategic, and experienced Social Media and Content Manager to drive their brand's digital presence. In this role, you will combine social media management with hands-on content creation-developing strategies, producing high-quality video and visual content, and building an authentic community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Substack). • Develop and execute innovative strategies to grow brand presence, engagement, and authentic community. • Produce high-quality video and visual content using mobile-first techniques and editing tools. • Design graphics, static posts, and branded assets; shoot and edit short-form content. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with brand messaging and marketing goals. • Manage influencer collaborations, UGC campaigns, and creator relationships. • Monitor trends in social media, beauty, and digital marketing to inform strategy. • Analyze performance metrics and optimize content plans for maximum impact. • Mentor junior team members and help shape the overall content vision. • Foster community growth while maintaining positive brand sentiment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field. • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a content creator or social media manager within the beauty industry (beauty experience is required). • Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and creative work on various platforms. • Proven track record of growing social media followings and engagement rates (10%+ increases preferred). • Hands-on experience creating video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts. • Expert knowledge of major social platforms and analytics tools; strong analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro), mobile editing apps (CapCut, InShot), Canva or Figma. • A passion for beauty storytelling, digital engagement, and real-time trend spotting. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment.
