EX4 - Assistant Manager Program Development. American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is currently seeking an Asst. Manager Program Development for our Insurance Solutions department.
The Program Development Assistant Manager works with the department manager on driving growth through the development of new distribution channels and customer incentive programs. This includes building and optimizing a multi-channel strategy encompassing dealer partnerships, a digitally embedded vehicle purchase experience, and community engagement initiatives that extend the company's reach and relevance. Simultaneously, the role involves creating innovative incentive programs that encourage insurance purchases, such as membership offerings that enhance the car ownership experience and customer referral initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adept at generating and prioritizing ideas, running structured tests, and iterating based on performance insights to identify the most effective strategies. Success requires strong cross-functional collaboration to gain internal buy-in, ensure seamless execution, and scale initiatives that measurably increase customer acquisition and business performance. This Assistant Manager will also have proven experience to influence and provide updates on key initiatives periodically for the benefit of various stakeholders (i.e., AHFC Management, Department management, AHM). This position requires a track record from a proven leader who takes ownership and effectively communicates with management. This Assistant Manager must be able to draw on extensive industry knowledge and experience to formulate sound decisions and recommendations to support objectives and budgets. Key Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to: Develop, implement, and manage strategic direction and roadmap of distribution channels Develop, implement, and manage strategic direction and roadmap of customer incentive programs Maintain external and internal partner relationships Manage and develop department associates Contribute to the Insurance Department and AHFC Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Who are we seeking? Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related degrees 7-10 years of experience in product marketing, business development, or growth strategy, preferably within insurance, financial services, and/or automotive Proven track record of launching and scaling distribution channels and customer acquisition programs that drive measurable business growth Demonstrated success in developing and managing strategic partnerships Able to clearly communicate with all organizational levels; influences on desired outcome in multiple formats:
presentation, writing, and facilitation Experience in gaining internal buy-in and including stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and operations to execute new initiatives Proven ability to lead diverse teams through establishing a clear sense of purpose and direction and gaining commitment from team members Understands internal and external customer needs; advocates for improved customer experiences Other Job Specific Skills: Strong business acumen Excellent presentation skills Ability to persuade/influence/negotiate, build strong relationships Critical thinking and application of industry acumen Strategic partnership relations Strong analytical skills Strong MS Office skills Additional Position Factors Workstyle: Onsite Can be based in Torrance, CA or Irving, TX (onsite 80% - 20% remote) Travel 25% Salary Grade Range: $81,300-$140,300 Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc. Job Dimensions
