Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager! Are you passionate about sales and business growth? We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to promote and sell our innovative products, services, and solutions through our GPO partner programs. This is an exciting opportunity to drive revenue and make a significant impact in our organization. Key Responsibilities: Promote and sell products, services, and solutions to prospective clients through our GPO partnerships. Generate new account revenue in alignment with organizational goals and personal targets. Identify and engage key targets, aligning closely with senior sales leadership to effectively manage the sales pipeline. Facilitate organizational alignment and resource allocation to onboard customers, collaborating with Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Logistics. Participate in training initiatives and fully understand sales processes for GPO programs. Develop expertise in the value propositions of our key GPO partners to guide the sales process. Evaluate sales training programs, providing insights for enhancements to meet revenue and profit objectives. Assist leadership in the formulation of sales strategies aimed at maximizing profitability. Be prepared for frequent overnight travel as required for training, meetings, and company events. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required. A minimum of 7 years in successful sales or new account development, preferably within the foodservice industry. Proven track record of increasing account penetration and business development through intermediaries. Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating the building of relationships both internally and externally. Ability to thrive in a matrix environment while achieving business goals. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with strong organizational capabilities and follow-through. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is advantageous. Adept at working under pressure and meeting deadlines while following a consistent sales methodology. This role is based in a home office environment and occasionally requires travel.
