Experienced Maintenance Technician

As part of our property maintenance team at The Encore SouthPark Luxury Apartment Homes, a premier class A 280-unit mid-rise community in Charlotte, NC, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a quality living experience for residents. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and preserve a multi-million dollar luxury community. Utilize advanced troubleshooting and technical skills to resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pool, and security systems. Build strong relationships with residents while promptly addressing maintenance concerns related to appliances, flooring, locks, drywall, etc. Assist the Service Supervisor in preparing makeready schedules, ensuring all units are ready for prospective residents. Order supplies and equipment through approved vendors as needed. Support the service team in maintaining the property's curb appeal. Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant multifamily or hotel maintenance experience. Strong knowledge in HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general carpentry. HVAC/EPA certification and Fair Housing training are required. CPO and CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certifications are also required but can be obtained after hiring. Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook). Willingness to undergo training on the makeready schedule, Payables Nexus for ordering supplies, and Yardi for service requests. Exceptional customer service skills. Availability for on-call duties is required.
