CNC Maintenance Technician

This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production CNC and factory equipment according to safety and maintenance guidelines, along with repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and fixtures in all company facilities. The CNC Maintenance Technician is also responsible for maintaining service records for machinery and equipment in our MRP system (EPICOR).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Oversee installation and repair of production CNC machines and other company equipment
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production CNC and manual machinery, and perform scheduled maintenance on all production equipment
Able to perform mechanical repairs and service to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal control and filtration systems pertaining to manufacturing equipment
Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and services
Diagnose CNC equipment problems, replace and repair parts, perform function tests and make adjustments as needed
Oversee repairs and construction of new services related to production and facility equipment
Utilize hand and power tools, electric meters, precision test devices and material handling equipment in performing duties
Comply with all safety regulations
Manage equipment details and specifications in the company MRP system
Utilize MRP system to record equipment service, parts and maintenance details as they occur
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and electro-mechanical maintenance experience
2+ years of CNC service experience
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills
Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and fellow team members
Demonstrated organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to read wiring diagrams, machine schematics, blueprints and technical manuals
Knowledge of MRP systems (Epicor a plus)
Awareness of local building, DEEP (EPA) and OSHA codes and regulations
