Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Data Governance and Strategy to lead the development and implementation of robust enterprise data governance and master data management (MDM) initiatives. This position will focus on optimizing provider, patient, and payer data systems. The ideal candidate will be a visionary data leader adept at engaging with executives, crafting effective policies, and overseeing comprehensive governance operations within the healthcare landscape. Key responsibilities include: Building and managing the enterprise data governance program. Leading master data management initiatives. Promoting data governance principles to executive leadership. Managing teams and overseeing technology delivery. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in data governance, data quality, or MDM, with a solid history of launching and managing enterprise MDM solutions, ideally in the healthcare sector. Proficiency in catalog solutions, metadata management, and governance frameworks is essential, along with a strong grasp of healthcare data standards. This role requires exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in engaging with C-level executives. The preferred candidate will demonstrate an empathetic, inclusive, and process-driven leadership style.
