Forklift Operator
Pay: $23/Hour
Location: Sumner, WA
Shift: Day
Job Description
We are seeking skilled forklift operators for two openings in our day shift, running from 7am to 3:30pm. This role requires 100% experience with stand-up forklifts and aims to be a go-to position with minimal training. Candidates will perform duties as both freight handlers and forklift drivers, including unloading/loading freight from containers, palletizing, and conducting quality checks on products. The role involves regular lifting of 50-75 lbs, with occasional lifting of 120 lbs between two people.
Responsibilities
Unload and load freight from containers.
Palletize products and perform quality checks.
Operate stand-up forklifts for inbound and outbound roles.
Use RF scanners to cross-reference and ensure accuracy.
Manually load and unload trucks in addition to forklift operation.
Pass and complete a forklift test prior to the first day.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months of 'Stand Up' forklift experience.
Cross Dock experience in warehousing.
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
Attention to detail with reading numbers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience operating Crown Electric standup loader, cherry picker, or stand-up reach forklift.
Previous experience operating various styles of sit-down forklifts.
