Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. As a full-service fire protection, life safety, and security company, we design, install, repair, service, and inspect a wide variety of fire suppression, life protection, and integrated security systems. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing the fire alarm systems for both new and existing customers. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning fire alarm systems Install new fire alarm systems according to manufacturers’ specifications and local codes Maintain accurate records of service and inspection reports Communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding project status and scheduling Follow company safety procedures and protocols Keep up-to-date on the latest fire alarm system technologies and products Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Texas State Fire Marshal licensing (FAL) or equivolent Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fire alarm service and maintenance Possess a strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and their components Familiarity with local and national fire codes and regulations Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights in a safe and efficient manner Benefits Firetrol offers competitive wages and top-of-the-line benefits that include health, dental vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, generous paid time off practice and a 401(k) plan with a generous company match and immediate vesting.
