About The Position
Primary duties are PTA evaluations and treatments. Inpatient (25%) acute, ICU, SNF, and outpatient (75%) settings. _ PTA in rural Kauai requires independence and thorough care approaches for all outpatient diagnoses, and acute to SNF inpatient mobility progression with knowledge of discharge planning. PTA is required to work in ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, and SNF), occasionally in OB, and extensively in our hospital based Outpatient PT Clinic. A full PTA schedule is a mix of in and outpatients every 30-45 minutes (one hour new eval's), which could be between 5 and 15 patients per day. \_\___**you will need to get Hawaii PTA license asap**_ Shift: M-F 8a-4:30p Lunch 12-1p but flexibility of work hours may occur. Weekends not required.
