Bartender

to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to craft elevated beverage experiences in a Forbes-rated environment, where every cocktail and conversation contributes to a memorable guest visit. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, a mastery of mixology, and a warm, professional presence in a fast-paced, luxury setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, intuitive, and personalized bar service to all guests, ensuring each interaction reflects the standards of a luxury resort experience.

Craft classic and innovative cocktails with consistency, precision, and presentation aligned with Hilltop’s elevated brand.

Offer thoughtful recommendations and guide guests through the wine, cocktail, and spirits lists, with a particular focus on Napa and Sonoma offerings.

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including preparation of garnishes, syrups, and bar tools.

Engage in warm, proactive guest communication, anticipating needs and offering recommendations to elevate the overall experience.

Support the dining team with beverage service across the restaurant, collaborating to ensure timely delivery and consistency.

Uphold Forbes luxury service standards by delivering anticipatory, gracious, and detail-oriented service.

Accurately and efficiently process orders and payments using the resort’s point-of-sale system.

Assist in the setup and breakdown of bar areas for daily service, private events, and seasonal activations.

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a bartender in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment preferred.

Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine (especially Napa Valley), and craft cocktails.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage guests and personalize experiences.

Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

A passion for hospitality and a desire to contribute to a world-class team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or LEAD) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Capability to navigate the resort’s expansive property as applicable.
