Logistics Manager

to provide Medical Warehouse Support Services for the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMNAVSURFPAC) in National City, CA. What do we do at Terrestris? Role Overview: What will the Logistics Manager do? The Logistics Manager will support logistics and supply services at the COMNAVSURFPAC Medical Warehouse, covering areas such as CBR medications, DHA/FDA SLEP, DoD Pharmaceuticals Reverse Distribution, Vaccine Support, MSE Program, DLA Disposition, MMQC messages, and NMRLC SERP. Typical Daily Responsibilities: Handle routine calls, maintain visitor logs, guide Navy ships on warehouse processes including packing, shipping, receiving, and issuing medical items. Review and update SOPs quarterly, submitting recommended changes via tracked Microsoft Word documents to the COR, with updates approved and documented accordingly. Perform cross-referencing of material numbers using WEBFLIS, OTS, or DAAS, and enter Class VIII-A items into SAMS and TMIP-M systems. Store, stage, and stock Class VIII-A items, ensuring proper packaging, including refrigerated items, and using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Prepare DD Form 1149 for no-cost transfers, package and ship items via DDDC, and coordinate deliveries and pickups with Navy ships using the designated transportation means. Ensure documentation accuracy, retain copies for record-keeping, and manage the distribution of CBR medications, including tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and coordinating with NMRLC CBR SLEP for testing and relabeling. Manage the DoD Pharmaceuticals Reverse Distribution Program, inspecting and processing medical equipment and supplies, and maintaining custody of equipment received under NMRLC SERP and MSE Program. Conduct regular inventories, including spot checks and annual wall-to-wall, reporting results monthly to the customer. Monitor the AMLC MMIP for recalls, hazards, and alerts, and notify the customer of any impacted items and required actions. Qualifications: You might be the right candidate if you have: A High School Diploma or GED. Active Secret Clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Within the last five years, experience with CBR medical supplies, DHA/FDA SLEP, DoD Pharmaceutical Programs, NMRLC SERP, MILSTRIP, Navy logistics procedures, and related systems such as SAMS, TMIP-M, WEBFLIS, OTS, and DAAS. Within the last three years, experience with NAVOSH Program requirements.
