This is an on-site position. In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately coding healthcare claims for commercial insurers and government programs like Medicare and Medicaid. You'll also assist with billing inquiries, payment collection, and ensuring claims are submitted and processed efficiently and compliantly.What You'll DoReview claims data to ensure CPT and ICD codes meet payer and compliance requirementsInvestigate rejected claims, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on unpaid claimsCommunicate with providers to clarify or obtain missing or incorrect coding informationServe as a resource to providers and staff for coding inquiries and provide training as neededConduct annual coding audits to ensure accuracy of CPT and ICD codingCollect, post, and manage patient account paymentsRespond to billing and statement inquiries from patientsSet up and manage patient payment plans with care and compassionWhat You'll ReceiveA culture built on patient care, teamwork, and community impact.Competitive salary & benefits to support your well-being: 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) - accrual starts on your first day!8 Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision & Pet Insurance401(k) with up to 5% company matchShort & Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance (company-paid) What We're Looking ForAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of healthcare reimbursement practicesCoding certification, CPC or CCS-P, preferredExtensive knowledge of ICD9-CM, ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles and guidelinesA strong knowledge base in complete and accurate clinical documentationA strong knowledge of Federal and State health care regulations, standards, policies, and requirements of documentation, coding and billingDemonstrated knowledge of all insurance companies, HMO's, PPO's, Medicare, third-party payers.Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and resolve claim issues efficientlyBe Noble.
