As a Pharmacy Material Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of medications and supplies to Cleveland Clinic facilities across Ohio. In this position, you will collaborate closely with buyers, material coordinators, and pharmacy technicians to receive inventory, fulfill purchase orders, deliver items to main campus pharmacies, and maintain accurate inventory levels.This position offers a rewarding opportunity to gain insight into all levels of the medication supply chain, along with unparalleled exposure to pharmacy logistics. You will receive hands-on experience that supports both professional development and career advancement.A caregiver in this position works varying shifts MondayFriday with every fourth Saturday rotation required. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Ensure continuous supplies are maintained with little or no interruption. Implement, manage, and maintain inventory systems to order, control, expedite, and inventory supplies to enhance the fiscal management of the department. Monitor reports and available publications for insight into shortages and determine appropriate substitute items. Provide information to technicians while carrying out inventory control function. Maintain the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationship with vendor representatives and conduct business according to established principles and guidelines. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Associate's degree OR high school diploma/GED and three years of experience in a similar role Work history of using a computer Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
