Logistics Management Specialist
CACI is seeking a Full-Time in office Logistics Management Specialist to support a US Government program in Fayetteville, NC. This position will provide direct support to the fielding and New Equipment Training of US Army units worldwide. Individual will provide accountability of over $3M of Government Equipment. Individual will be responsible for inventories and inspections as required by Government Officials. Responsibilities:
Receiving and inspecting Government Furnished Property (GFP) upon delivery. Conducting periodic physical inventories of GFP. Investigating discrepancies or losses of GFP. Preparing documentation for GFP acquisitions, transfers, and disposals. Monitoring supply and demand; developing disposition plans based on low or zero demand history. Developing and implementing GFP management plans. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience Active Secret Security Clearance Must be able to travel up to 20% (CONUS and OCONUS) Proficiency in Government Property management, including inventory management, property accounting, storage and disposition of Government Furnished Property (GFP). Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45. Strong understanding of Government Property regulatory requirements including: AR 735-5, Property Accountability Policies AR 710-2, Inventory Management Supply Policy Below the Wholesale Level DA PAM 710-2-1, Using Unit Supply System (Manual Procedures) Experience using a Department of Defense Accounting Property System of Record (APSR), such as: Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A) Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Power Point..
