Job Opportunity: Part-time Cook Supervisor

Are you passionate about food service and looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a supportive community? Trinity Elms Assisted Living is hiring a dedicated and experienced Part-time Cook Supervisor for our dietary department to ensure quality meal service for our residents. Position Details Position is part-time Pay: $15 per hour Hours: 11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend required Key Responsibilities Manage the Dietary Department in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Dining Services. Review menus and prepare regular and therapeutic diet meals according to planned menus. Follow standardized recipes and serve meals adhering to dietary needs and portion controls. Assist in menu planning and preparation of special meals. Train, coach, and supervise dietary personnel. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. Report equipment and supply needs to the Director of Dietary Services. Participate in training sessions to improve skills and work habits. Qualifications High school coursework, diploma, or GED; or equivalent experience. Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes and dietary instructions. Experience in food preparation and serving methods. Knowledge of food sanitation principles. Supervisory experience in food service is preferred. Working Conditions Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day. Ability to lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds and work with cleaning agents. Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels. Must maintain hygiene standards and be free from infections or diseases. Why Join Us?
