Payroll Analyst

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our clients Tampa office. Business Analyst - Job Description: The role involves analyzing business processes and data, with a focus on global cross-border administration and taxation issues. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and providing solutions to complex payroll calculations. Business Analyst - Responsibilities: Respond to CBET requests through the Service Now ticketing system, ensuring complete and accurate case documentation Answer CBET inquiries via a shared mailbox Provide feedback to questions from vendors, employees, and global partners Perform validation checks on employee data and update as necessary Analyze data and metrics in Excel using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced features Manage critical and time-sensitive issues to ensure program compliance Participate in project work, including NYS trailing liabilities related to supplemental compensation project Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills: Analytical skills with demonstrated experience in critical thinking and problem-solving Advanced spreadsheet application knowledge Strong understanding of US payroll processing, including federal and state regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Business Analyst Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Service Now functionality Experience with global cross-border administration and/or taxation issues Ability to operate in a team environment efficiently Business Analyst Assignment Length: This is a contract position.
