Mainstream is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Control Technician.
This is a first shift position.
Job Description
The Quality Inspector will perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined parts.
Utilize programmable CMM, FARO arm, Hexagon Absolute arm, micrometers, calipers, pin gages, gage blocks and other precision measuring instruments.
Work individually and with team members to prioritize schedule and meet due dates.
Complete inspection reports and other related documentation
Work within the parameters of Mainstream's Quality Management System, AS9100, and ISO 9001:2015
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
Dependable individual with excellent attendance and team player mentality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Assist Quality Manager
FOD awareness and prevention
Counterfeit parts awareness
Qualifications
Three or more years prior experience in an inspection or quality assurance role
Ability to read and understand blueprints and part drawings
Experience with CAD software is a plus
Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Prior experience with Hexagon brand CMM or FARO inspection equipment is a plus
PC-DMIS software experience is a plus
Past machining or programming experience is a plus
