Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
On-Call Cleaner
to support our healthcare facility's commitment to cleanliness, safety, and infection control. This role is critical in maintaining a sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors, especially during high-demand periods or in response to urgent cleaning needs.
Pay: $24.15 an hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift:
Part-time as needed basis, no specific shift or work days. Will vary week by week

Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, exam rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other clinical and non-clinical spaces. Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests, including biohazard spills and terminal cleaning. Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols, including proper use of PPE and hospital-grade disinfectants. Safely handle and dispose of medical and general waste. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and sanitizers. Document tasks completed and report any maintenance or safety issues. Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure cleaning needs are met efficiently and respectfully. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in healthcare or commercial cleaning strongly preferred. Knowledge of infection control standards and cleaning procedures in a healthcare setting. Ability to work independently and respond to on-call requests with short notice. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Additional Requirements:
Must pass a background check and health screening. Proof of immunizations and/or willingness to receive required vaccinations (e.g., flu, COVID-19, Hepatitis B). Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Why Join Us?
