This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned fundraiser with a strong background in securing major gifts and successfully leading capital campaigns. In this vital role, you will spearhead the strategic fundraising initiatives of the Foundation, focusing on the museum's ambitious $75 million Reimagine the Experience Capital Campaign. You will lead donor stewardship efforts, manage a talented team of fundraising professionals, and nurture relationships with diverse funders, partners, and community leaders. It is essential for you to represent the Foundation and the Museum effectively to key stakeholders while ensuring that all stewardship efforts align with our funding priorities. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in fundraising, particularly in the realm of major gifts and capital campaigns, is highly sought after. Candidates should exhibit exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In addition to fundraising, you will oversee the daily operations of the Foundation, ensuring effective budget management. This role may require occasional travel and flexibility for evening and weekend commitments. Key personal qualities include being a good listener, a collaborative team player, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Familiarity with donor database management technology and CRM software is advantageous.
