What You'll Do:
Verify coverage and ensure accurate claim setup Investigate and determine compensability and benefit entitlement for claims Maintain timely and clear communication with insureds and claimants Ensure prompt and accurate processing of medical, legal, vendor, and indemnity payments Strategize to reduce exposure and recommend settlements or offers Conduct timely file documentation, diary entries, and status reports Visit insureds, attend meetings, and participate in file reviews Review and authorize medications, medical procedures, and IMEs/SMOs Collaborate with defense counsel and manage litigation strategies Monitor and work with vendors such as case managers, vocational rehab, and investigators File PLN and EDI reports as required by jurisdictional agencies Report suspected fraud and pursue subrogation opportunities Ensure compliance with Medicare Section 111 and other applicable guidelines Stay current on industry updates and maintain continuing education credits Mentor team members and assist Branch Manager as needed What You'll Need:
Valid adjuster license(s) in applicable jurisdictions Minimum of 3 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims Strong understanding of workers' compensation regulations and labor code Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims software Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines Professionalism, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset What We Offer:
