The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of our specialty lubricant portfolio across the western region of the US and Canada. This role will lead a team of technical sales representatives by overseeing all aspects of the sales cycle - from identifying new opportunities and nurturing long-term customer relationships to mentoring the team and collaborating with other territory leaders. This role will develop and execute regional sales strategies, help to build strong customer relationships, and ensure all team members have the resources they need to grow their respective territories.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales plans to achieve growth goals and expand market share within key industries Lead and mentor a team of technical sales representatives to strengthen the team and accelerate growth Identify opportunities to further develop team members focusing on both technical knowledge and soft/interpersonal/selling skillsets Manage growth with select key customers, while identifying and progressing new corporate/OEM opportunities. Monitor sales performance and develop plans to replicate successes across all regions and re-gain any significant loss of business Collaborate with leadership across all departments to develop engaging and impactful training, meetings, and presentations to enhance resources available to the team, distributors, and end-users. Periodically review territory to ensure adequate resourcing for sales and distribution and address gaps if needed Travel to visit customers and industry events as needed (estimated 50%) Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Effective leadership, coaching, and team motivation Strong understanding of technical and value-added selling Business development and opportunity identification at corporate and plant levels Data analysis and performance trend evaluation to aid in informed decision-making Presentation development and delivery skills Advanced proficiency in Excel and business systems, including CRM platforms Education and Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience with at least 3 in sales management or leadership role Demonstrated success in developing and executing regional sales strategies and achieving revenue/growth targets through direct and distribution sales models Experience within the specialty lubricants and/or food industry is beneficial, but not required Benefits:
