The Planet Group is seeking an
Events Planner
for a leading global firm. The
Events Planner
will join its internal events team and support a high volume of in-person and virtual events. This is a visible role that will manage logistics for executive-facing, internal, and industry-wide events from planning through post-execution. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to deliver polished, on-brand experiences in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a professional services or legal firm setting and is passionate about event logistics, planning, and relationship management. Events Planner Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage corporate events, including dinners, receptions, morale events, client-facing sessions, and internal programming Coordinate in-person, virtual, and hybrid webinars end to end Lead run-of-show planning, tech prep sessions, and execution alongside internal content leads Own vendor coordination: source venues, manage contracts, AV needs, catering, and swag Create and manage event budgets, schedules, and prep materials Serve as day-of point of contact for on-site and virtual event execution Support internal teams in event theme and structure development Assist with firmwide event administration and reporting Events Planner
Required Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience in corporate event planning; law firm or professional services strongly preferred Demonstrated success coordinating client-facing, C-level events Hands-on knowledge of Zoom, webinar platforms, and basic AV setups Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe and database tools a plus Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously Proactive, resourceful, and collaborative team player Why This Role?
