Full-time | Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM | No nights, weekends, or major holidays
Job Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Surgical Techs to join a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. This role focuses on orthopedic cases but requires flexibility to cross-train across other specialties. Certification is not required, but prior experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrub for surgeries following sterile protocols and assist surgeons during procedures Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies using preference cards Maintain a sterile field, pass instruments, and manage surgical specimens Assist with patient positioning, draping, and retraction as needed Count sponges, needles, and instruments before closure and apply sterile dressings Support OR turnover, equipment cleaning, and restocking Assist with circulating duties under RN supervision Serve as a resource for students, new techs, and department staff Participate in department meetings and quality improvement efforts Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience - Required Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and surgical equipment - Required Ability to perform in high-pressure situations with strong interpersonal skills Willingness to cross-train across multiple specialties (General, Plastics, Ortho, Podiatry, ENT, etc.) Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program - Preferred
