Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire Machinery Maintenance.
As a Machinery Maintenance at MercyOne, you will perform preventative maintenance and be able to trouble shoot and repair the equipment in the laundry in a timely manner.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment using testing devises such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility of safety of system.
Reading and understanding mechanical and electrical diagrams and technical repair manuals.
Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot systems, components and equipment to correct problems.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and need for adjustments or repairs to ensure compliance with codes.
Schedule:
Days 6:00 am - 3:30 pm but can vary
General Requirements:
Understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and computers to work on laundry equipment.
Possess reading level to comprehend equipment manuals
Oral and written communication skills sufficient to discuss and resolve issues with technicians.
Continue to increase knowledge of the facility and laundry equipment.
Be able to remain calm, to apply good trouble shooting techniques and to operate safely under pressure to get a piece of equipment operating quickly.
Be able to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
