Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team and play a critical role in shaping our organizational culture, driving accountability, and supporting our lean manufacturing initiatives. This role is essential in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to support our mission of operational excellence and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Culture Building: Champion and reinforce the company's values and culture throughout all levels of the organization. Develop and implement initiatives that promote employee engagement, inclusion, and a positive workplace environment. Collaborate with leaders to drive cultural transformation, enhance team dynamics, and build a high-performance culture.
Accountability and Performance Management: Partner with leadership to set clear performance expectations and create a culture of accountability. Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans. Provide guidance and support to managers on handling performance issues, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Lean Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to support the implementation and sustainability of lean manufacturing practices. Assist in identifying HR-related opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within manufacturing operations. Facilitate training and development programs related to lean principles and practices.
Talent Management and Development: Support talent acquisition efforts by partnering with recruitment teams to attract and retain top talent in the food manufacturing industry. Develop and implement training programs that align with business needs and promote professional growth. Create succession planning strategies to ensure a pipeline of talent for key roles and future leadership positions.
HR Strategy and Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support overall objectives. Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in HR processes. Develop and implement policies and procedures that support business goals and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Employee Relations and Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a fair and consistent manner. Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention. Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with a strong background in manufacturing environments and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Proven experience in driving culture change, performance management, and talent development. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and the ability to apply HR practices in support of lean initiatives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
