Maintenance Mechanic II
to keep our community running smoothly and safely. From fixing leaks and wiring to solving mechanical challenges, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that supports our with skill, reliability, and care.
Rotating on-call every 5 weeks.

Essential Functions: • Respond to routine and emergency maintenance service calls promptly and professionally • Repair or replace plumbing components such as faucets, drains, mixing valves, and toilets • Install or repair electric and gas water heaters • Replace electrical switches, receptacles, wiring, and other related components • Install or repair flooring, wood or vinyl base, trim, and glass as needed • Troubleshoot mechanical systems, including: – Furnaces – Pumps – Air handlers – Temperature control systems • Participate as an active member of the Fire Team • Take part in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation • Always model Presbyterian Homes’ Hospitality Promises and uphold Corporate Compliance practices
Skills/Qualifications: • High school diploma required; trade school education • 1–2 years of general maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting • Strong problem-solving ability in basic mechanical and electrical repair • Valid driver's license required • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking most of the day • Comfortable with regular exposure to dirt, dust, noise, and occasional temperature extremes • Able to safely use power tools, ladders, and other equipment, with awareness of job-related hazards • Strong interpersonal skills with regular interaction with and staff
