SUMMARY
Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks related to the facility infrastructure including minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC repairs. Regularly works independently.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. Vocational/Trades school or post high school vocational training/education is beneficial. Valid Driver's License (Class III) is required.
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of general maintenance/repair techniques typically acquired by 3-5 years of experience. Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
SKILLS
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays or during off-hours.
Demonstrated mechanical trades/crafts aptitude is preferred.
