Job DescriptionJob Description Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Quality Control Inspector
to join our
Inspection/Quality Control Department . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the
aerospace and/or transportation industry
and a strong understanding of industry-specific quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
visual and dimensional inspections
of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
Use precision measuring instruments including
calipers, to verify product specifications
Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformances in materials or products
Accurately document inspection results and maintain records in accordance with internal procedures and industry standards
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
Support the preparation and review of
FAIs (First Article Inspections)
knowledge of AS9102 format is a plus
Qualifications:
Proven experience
in a Quality Control or Inspection role within the
aerospace and/or transportation industry
Proficient in the use of
precision measuring tools
(calipers,)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Familiarity with
FAI processes
and documentation ()
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in quality inspection are a plus
