Maison D'Enfants
Full Time live-out Nanny required for an UES family with an infant son (born June 2025) starting Summer/early Fall 2025. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child-related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their infant son in an active, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who is warm, trustworthy and who above all loves children. The first-time parents are looking for a long term partnership with someone who is a positive, responsible and reliable individual. The ideal candidate is someone calm, proactive, helpful and experienced with newborn + toddler milestones. Strong communication and common sense/good judgment are key to this role - both parents work full time and Dad works from home. International + domestic is expected during vacations with the family.
Location: UES, NY
Start date: Summer/early Fall 2025 (Mom is currently on maternity leave)
Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours/week: General hours to land between 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, with availability to flex as needed to 50-55hrs during busy work weeks for the parents.
Children: Son (born June 2025)
Conditions: $30 - $40 per hour* paid as W2 employee plus standard sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations
For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:
Work authorization for the US
A minimum of 5-10 years experience as a nanny (must have long term, tenured experience)
Recent experience working with an infant
A well-suited demeanor for working with infants and eventual toddlers
Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
An open and flexible schedule
Ability to complete all child-related duties (including, but not limited to: child meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying nursery and play areas, child's laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
A professional appearance
Demonstrates professionalism and discretion at all times, reflecting the high standards and values prioritized by the family
