Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis (5-10 hours per week). As a Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and interface of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, to create engaging and effective designs that meet both user needs and business goals.
The Product Designer will be responsible for designing new features for our industry-leading product. At ProductPlan, we use customer interviews, and analytics to validate our product direction. We are looking for individuals who obsess on delighting our customers and influence our pursuit of creating great software.
This is a part-time role, requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is flexible and open to occasionally working onsite at our Denver office.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize new features and designs for our industry-leading roadmap software Prototyping: Developing mock-ups and prototypes to test ideas and iterate on designs Design development: Creating detailed design specifications and drawings, and ensuring products are functional and aesthetically pleasing User research: Conducting user research and gathering feedback from users, business stakeholders, and team members Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to develop products that drive business value Evaluation: Outlining product specifications for review and providing feedback on ways to improve the product Work alongside your Engineering lead and Product Manager to achieve goal-oriented outcomes About You:
3+ years proven experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role in a fast paced SaaS environment. Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and final products. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred) or Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to balance user needs with business goals in design solutions. Have a deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process - This includes how to develop and use design research, journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals to achieve solutions that meet our customers needs Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Hourly Range: $45 - $55 (5 to 10 hours a week)
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
