Manager

in support of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program. The GMD system provides 24/7 operationally defense to the homeland against long-range ballistic missile attacks. This position is located at

Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing customer support within the GMD Maintenance and Operations Center (GMOC). Serves as the primary Boeing GMD program representative to Missile Defense Agency customers at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC). Coordinates with USG customers on site issues including facility access, workspace arrangements, and other personnel matters. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

3+ years of experience working on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program 3+ years of experience in team or project leadership 3+ years of technical support experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience working directly with USG customers Engineering Degree Relocation:

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050
