Staffmark is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Forklift Driver to join our growing team in Covington, GA. In this role, you'll operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store goods safely and efficiently in a warehouse or construction environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure smooth warehouse operations and accurate inventory management.
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Schedule: 8 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and industrial equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers Transport materials to designated storage areas Stack, store, and organize products in compliance with safety protocols Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies Assist with inventory counts and data entry as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet operational goals Qualifications:
Valid forklift certification/license (OSHA or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years' experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach trucks, etc.) Strong knowledge of warehouse safety and operations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Willingness to work flexible shifts or overtime when required High school diploma or GED equivalent
