$24.00 - $38.50 Department Details We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Home Health Team at Good Samaritan Grand Island/Hastings. This full-time position offers 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible weekend and holiday coverage. You will primarily serve our geriatric population, addressing various diagnoses such as weakness, balance issues, cervical/back pain, vertigo, and more. We are eager to find a candidate who complements our dedicated team. Enjoy the benefit of paid travel between sites and clients. Job Summary As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will assist patients, residents, and clients with scheduled therapy activities and exercises, under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist. Your contributions will enhance the quality of life and daily functioning of those you serve. You will monitor, record, and document therapy services for patients with physical, cognitive, and developmental impairments, ensuring that interventions align with their personal goals and case plans. Your role is integral in helping us achieve targeted physical therapy outcomes through effective communication and documentation. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program. Must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment. A valid driver's license may be required.
