Payroll Analyst
Collaborate cross-functionally with hospital leadership, Human Resources, Finance, and departmental timekeepers to support and enhance the UKG Pro Workforce Management System. Oversee system configuration and maintenance for key modules including timekeeping, accruals, attendance, leave management, integrations, and staff scheduling. Play a central role in optimizing workflows and ensuring data integrity to support efficient and compliant workforce operations. There is an option for remote work for this role. Document processes and standard procedures and provide training and technical support to end users, including responding to user requests, and researching and resolving issues. Assist in preparing reports and metrics for leadership and departments to support decision-making and strategic planning. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and UKG to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, optimize functionality, and determine ongoing needs and requirements. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in HRIS and recommend improvements and innovations to support the healthcare systems strategic goals and initiatives. May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage and maintain the integrity of confidential materials and associated issues. Demonstrated problem-solving, process improvement, and change management skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including scheduling data extractions for reporting from several different databases on different platforms (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access). Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Crystal Reports/Business Objects. Bachelors degree in information technology, accounting, human resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Three (3) years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Five (5) years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
