to join our skilled nursing facility.
In this role, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals, ensuring they align with planned menus and established portion control standards. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and recipes. Coordinate food production to meet scheduled meal service times. Ensure menu items, portion sizes, and plate presentations meet facility standards. Adhere to special diet orders and follow standard recipes. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to sanitation regulations. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year experience in dining services, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting. Culinary school training is preferred but not required.
