Job DetailsJob LocationOrlando - GEMD - Kissimmee - Kissimmee , FLPosition TypePer DiemJob CategoryMedical TechniciansDescriptionGeneral Summary:The Radiology Tech completes quality imaging on a variety of patients requiring X-Ray's and/or CT studies. Description of Essential Duties: Produces high quality diagnostic images to include a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply the proper scan protocols needed to visualize the anatomy in questionParticipates in QA activities to include maintenance of patient logs and RIS formsKeep Repeat/Retake percentage less than 7% of all images for each monthUnderstand the process of computed radiology, image processing, archiving, and sending of images to the PACS stations and perform these tasks accurately and free of errorEnsures Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications to radiation and contrast injections.
