Senior Procurement Specialist -Transmission & Distribution (EPC)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Procurement Specialist to support our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of procurement and subcontracting activities for complex Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects. From RFP development and commercial bid evaluation to contract execution and project close-out, you'll play a critical role in ensuring materials and services are sourced, secured, and delivered on schedule.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in vendor and subcontractor management who thrives in a fast-paced project environment.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Project and Procurement Managers to support pursuit and execution schedulesDevelop bidder lists, issue RFPs, and evaluate proposals for compliance, diversity goals, and standardsNegotiate terms, coordinate technical reviews, and recommend contract awardsDraft and finalize contracts, ensuring required flow-down provisionsMaintain supplier and subcontractor relationships; resolve performance issuesManage and update the Procurement Status Report (PSR)Identify and address risks such as delays, scope gaps, or pricing issuesValidate materials against drawings and input data into management systemsResolve overages, shortages, and damaged items with construction/logisticsEnsure all activities meet compliance, safety, and documentation standardsSupport special projects and additional tasks as assignedQualifications:Required:5+ years of procurement experience within EPC environments, particularly in T&D projectsProven track record in managing vendor/subcontractor RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiation, and material logisticsExperience with supplier prequalification, submittal tracking, and expediting on high-value infrastructure projectsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related fieldPreferred:Established network of vendors and subcontractors in the T&D or energy sector.Skills & Attributes:Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to contractual detailsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently while supporting a cross-functional teamExceptional organizational and time management skillsComfortable communicating with all levels of staff and external partnersTravel Requirements:Must be willing to travel up to 50% based on project needsReady to build the infrastructure of the future with a high-performing EPC team?
