Our extensive network and commitment to excellent service make us a preferred choice for perishable goods transportation. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freight Broker located in Salinas, CA. We are also looking for a Freight Broker in Chicago, IL. The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and negotiating rates with carriers. Freight Brokers are also responsible for their own sales. ATS Inc runs a cradle to grave model for Brokers. Day-to-day tasks include managing customer accounts, cold-calling and prospecting customers, providing excellent customer service, dispatching drivers, and solving any logistical issues that arise. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively handle the dynamic environment of freight brokerage. Qualifications Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage Strong Customer Service skills and experience in Account Management Proficiency in Dispatching Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work on-site in Salinas, CA or in our Chicago, IL office. Relevant industry experience is a plus Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred Seniority level
