Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Responsibilities
Pharmacy Technician Trainee Train for a career in pharmacy while assisting with medication management, inventory, and customer service. Gain hands-on experience while preparing for the PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. Key Responsibilities: Learn and assist with medication storage, inventory management, and stock rotation. Provide customer service, triage calls, and support pharmacy operations. Complete required training, coursework, and experiential rotations to prepare for certification. Participate in medication preparation, packaging, and delivery using pharmacy systems. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all policies and procedures. Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Healthcare or fast-paced work experience preferred. Certification: Enrolled in URMC ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program or obtain PTCB certification within 180 days.
