Tellers are the face of WeStreet Credit Union and are responsible for providing the highest level of service to members by performing Teller transactions, servicing accounts, responding to questions, and other transactional needs. Tellers are responsible for being friendly, professional, courteous, and should proactively look for opportunities to go above-and-beyond for members. Tellers are a valuable part of our team and help WeStreet stay true to our shared vision of serving and enriching the lives of others.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
•Assist members with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and issuing negotiable instruments •Greet members with a genuine smile and maintain a welcoming environment •Carry out the Credit Union's mission of providing tailored financial solutions by offering additional products or services that help fit the needs of the members •Balance cash drawer daily •Be knowledgeable of all core products and services •Build member loyalty by providing the highest level of service •Respond to member inquires or concerns in a timely manner •Adhere to internal policies and procedures •Follow the Credit Union's Core Values of Trust, Integrity, Teamwork, and Making a Difference
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•Ability to contribute to a positive team environment and to provide an exceptional member experience •Careful attention to detail •Exceptional work ethic •Excellent communication skills, including oral and written communication •High School diploma or equivalent
Skills and Qualifications:
•Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills •Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to stand for long periods of time •May occasionally have to carry coin bags or coin boxes sometimes weighing 25 pounds •Typing and repetitive motion
