• Receives, responds and communicates to call outs, time off, holiday and PTO requests.
• Prepares and posting the 4-week cycle nursing master schedules by updating the employee information to
the master schedule in timekeeping system and saving on the shared drive.
• Post open shifts 2 weeks in advance.
• Tracks and verifies all employee hours, overtime, and call outs daily.
• Reconcile PPD and ratio per shift daily and ensure minimum PPD ratio.
• Performs daily staffing analysis and distributes the allotted time in the appropriate category with actual
hours worked, escort hours and in-service/education hours.
• Willingness to rearrange staff schedule for switches so that both the facility and the staff needs are met,
whenever possible.
• Calls staff to fill in for vacancies or callouts on schedules.
• Keeps and maintains all schedules/records in a neat and orderly manner.
• Continuously analyzes facility schedules to review open shifts and fill shifts with facility staff. .
• Schedules and coordinates on call staff to meet emergency staffing needs.
