DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

OBJETO
Apoyar a la Organización Panamericana de la Salud en el desarrollo de estrategias y acciones coordinadas con las autoridades nacionales y territoriales en el marco de la cooperación técnica en salud nutricional e infantil.
RESPONSABILIDADES: Apoyar el fortalecimiento de capacidades institucionales y comunitarias en salud nutricional. Apoyar las acciones de cooperación en curso en el marco del cumplimiento de las metas nacionales de sodio (protocolo de monitoreo ingesta de sodio, monitoreo contenido de sodio en alimentos procesados, análisis ingesta y principales fuentes de sodio). Apoyar el desarrollo de intervenciones dirigidas a la prevención del sobrepeso y obesidad en el curso de vida. Apoyar el desarrollo de estrategias, acciones y herramientas institucionales y comunitarias dirigidas a fortalecer las acciones de crianza y la implementación del plan nacional de reducción de la mortalidad infantil. Participar en la movilización de recursos dirigidos a la implementación de un plan integral de reducción de la mortalidad infantil por desnutrición en el departamento de La Guajira. Los demás que sean necesarios para cumplir con el objeto del contrato. Junto con los productos requeridos deberá entregar el Resumen Ejecutivo de máximo dos páginas en el que se resalten de forma sucinta y clara: temas de foco, metodología, conclusiones, recomendaciones, según formato establecido por OPS. Cumplir con la política sobre la prevención respuesta de la explotación y abuso sexual, PREAS y socializar con las comunidades sujetos de atención por OPS/OMS Adelantar los cursos virtuales de autoaprendizaje que son mandatorios para la OPS/OMS y los prioritarios de PHE. EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDA
Educación:
Título profesional en nutrición y dietética y/o pediatría. Posgrado en salud pública, epidemiología, o áreas relacionadas al objeto del contrato. Experiencia.
Experiencia de al menos cinco (5) años en formulación, implementación, monitoreo y evaluación de planes o proyectos en salud nutricional e infantil. Experiencia en capacitar equipos de salud y/o otros sectores en áreas y temáticas de salud nutricional e infantil. Experiencia en sistematización de información. Experiencia en elaboración de informes cuali - cuantitativos. Experiencia deseable de trabajo con Organismos internacionales/NU Manejo de herramientas office. Habilidades de comunicación y concertación de agendas con distintos actores territoriales. MONTO MAXIMO DEL CONTRATO: COP$ 51.467.065
