Job Summary: The Material Handler/ Receiver plays a key role in the timely and accurate receiving, handling, and inventory of raw materials and supplies across multiple buildings. This hands-on position supports the manufacturing operation by ensuring inventory integrity, organizing storage areas, operating forklifts, and maintaining SAP inventory records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, independence, and communication skills in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all material receiving tasks for Therapeutics production and non-production items. Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips; note discrepancies or damage. Support purchasing and inventory teams by entering receipts into SAP. Keep raw material storage areas (Building 1, Building 3, cylinder docks, and trailers) neat and organized. Remove approved raw materials from quarantine and relocate them to designated warehouse areas. Transport materials between designated storage buildings and locations. Maintain adequate stock levels for Production use and help prevent material shortages. Participate in physical inventory counts, perform recounts, and investigate discrepancies in SAP. Operate forklifts safely to move and stack inventory. Maintain a clean and safe workspace and complete all required training on time. Required Experience:
Experience operating a forklift in an industrial or warehouse setting. Familiarity with inventory control systems (SAP experience preferred). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience handling hazardous materials. Required Skills:
